Paris Farm and Ranch has the following career opportunity available for two (2) qualified individuals seeking employment in the equipment dealer industry.
Title: Service Technician
Location: Paris Farm and Ranch – Paris, TX
Reports to: Service Manager
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for independently performing diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on agricultural, and construction equipment
- Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
- Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of machine information, diagnostics, and repairs performed on work orders and on-time submittal of information.
- Required to participate in manufacturer specific service training programs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues.
- Minimum 3yrs experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and after treatment systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure.
- Proficient Computer Skills – Preferred experience with Kubota KOBD-ACE and or CNH EST Diagnostics Tools
- Must have steady employment history
- Diesel Tech School is highly desired
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum 3yrs experience of work-related skill, knowledge, and/or dealer experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of agriculture and construction equipment operations and mechanical functions
